attachChild

Attaches a child.

TODO: Shouldn't this method have package-only visibility? Cannot change this without breaking binary compatibility.

Parameters:

childName - The name of the child.

isWriteable

public boolean isWriteable()
                    throws FileSystemException

Determines if this file can be written to.
